I wonder why there is no more than 5 star for service. The host family is really sweet. They took pur breakfast preference well in advance. As I am vegetarian, they made sure I am getting enough options to eat. Even while coming back to London, we left room early in the morning, so they kept some takeaway food for our travel time
The Conigre was a great place to stay. I was up here for a week through work doing a course and work had booked us in for the week in this little gem of a place. It had a large spacious and clean room with breakfast being delivered to our door every morning which was a lovely touch. The location of the hotel was perfect also with everything in walking distance. The bars, restaurants and shops Andy the owner was very helpful and even upgraded me to a larger room which was the icing on the cake. 5*. I cannot wait to stay here again.
This little gem was a great find We stayed in the David Copperfield room which was lovely bathroom beautiful It's quite central to the town bit. We had to cut short our stay(due to family emergency) The owners where lovely and even gave us a reduced amount on the price which was so kind (we didn't expect it) We definitely recommend this little hotel and will definitely be back this year at some point If you get a chance to stay here then do so
We just came back from a two night stay . We had lovely room . Very clean . We had condiments from the hosts .we had breakfast both mornings which was excellent and lovely chef.we meet the owner very polite as was the chef . Only thing that I would say I didn't like was the TV was small and it was in a position to watch from seating area .I would rather watch from bed. But I would go bk and I would recommend to anyone .
